My bff Sarah Page called me and asked if there was any chance I happened to be in Utah, because she had just landed at the Salt Lake Airport. An hour later she was at my mom's house. We took a field trip to Swig, a soda shop. It was so fun to see her and catch up, and really was the best surprise I've had in a long time.
In the evening the kids and I went to a park with Dallas & Shannon's family (along with a billion insects) that's right by legacy highway.
