We slept at a pretty terrible motel in Bakersfield, and resumed driving in the morning. We took a quick break to look at the Bellagio conservatory. Katie insisted we stop and get some very fancy Asian nachos from a restaurant that turns out to have a location in Chicago, the Grand Luxe. Then we continued on with our van full of kids and strollers, stopping for Dairy Queen and a petting zoo in Scipio, Utah.
