2014/12/10 Wednesday: Dental Work of the Future

The dentist used a 3-D scanner to design an on-lay to repair my tooth where I broke off the edge of the molar.  Then a milling machine the size of a toaster oven carved it out.  Baked briefly in a kiln, then bonded with my tooth.  It's amazing!
