2013/12/22 Sunday: Oven Nachos
Amy changed our world when she taught us to make nachos in the oven. So much better than microwave nachos.
2013/12/21 Saturday: Santa Patrol
We were laying in bed on a lazy Saturday morning, when we heard fire engines approaching. I instantly realized I'd forgotten the Santa patrol was coming. We hopped up, put our shoes on, grabbed the kids and ran across the street to the corner to meet Santa. Gigi would not go very near Santa, even to get her treat bag.
2013/12/19 Thursday: Henry's Preschool Program
Henry's preschool program was tonight. They sang songs, had hand actions. It was adorable. Santa called up each kid by name, one at a time, to give them a gift bag. Henry waited, and waited, and was the very last one called up. I think the wait nearly killed him. We thought we had engineered Nick's schedule so he could be there, but in sort of typical doctor fashion, something happened and he got there just as we were leaving for home.
2013/12/18 Wednesday: My Clever Good Deed
Amy felt terrible when V's favorite toy got lost. It looks like this toy, but the clip is oval instead of round. I had the idea to post this picture on the on a Facebook group that's a sort of mini-Craigslist. It's a local group of about 800 members, and people buy/sell everything related to running a household with a family. I posted this picture, and an explanation that we needed the toy to have the oval clip. A couple hours later, someone posted they had one that they'd sell for $2. V has his toy back!
2013/12/17 Tuesday: Butterfly
Gigi made me paint her face, and then criticized my artwork. We also had a great time at library playtime today.

2013/12/16 Monday: Sweet Toy Time
The kids continue to enjoy the most frustrating toy in the world. Henry attempted but didn't break boards in little ninja class. Amy put new liner on my kitchen shelves, because she is awesome.
