My mom hosted an open house for her neighbors and church friends. I think it was largely an attempt to justify her crazy Christmas decorations. Since Nick and I spent our first 3 years as a couple living in this neighborhood, we knew a lot of the guests. It was a nice way to bring everyone to us to say hello.
One very special visitor was Sara and her family (Ryan was there but not pictured.) If you know Sara, then you're jealous she was there. If you don't know, then you should be jealous.
We had to cancel our plans with the Johnsons for the morning since Nick's brother was sick.
